Shuttle’s OMNINAS KD21 Awarded for its Sleek Design and Functionality
The OMNINAS KD21 made by Shuttle, Inc. has been awarded 4 out of 5 stars from Chip Magazine, a key Turkish Tech-News publication. The OMNINAS KD21 is the second generation of Shuttle’s own brand NAS (Network Attached Storage) line and features nearly twice the data transfer speeds and double the memory as its predecessor, KD20. The new and improved KD21 can support two 4TB HDDs with a total storage capacity of 8TBs.
According to Chip Magazine, “When comparing with other 2-bay NAS systems in the same class, the KD21 stands out as being the most fit for Home and Small Office use. We’re really impressed with the KD21’s surprisingly low cost, considering its easy setup and sleek design.” The OMNINAS uses a 2.5mm stylish aluminum casing (with Kensington lock) which not only blends in with the home environment but also keeps things cool for long hours of operation. In addition to USB 2.0 and LAN ports in the rear, users will appreciate the two front panel USB 3.0 ports and SD Card Reader for fast connectivity.
Shuttle’s OMNINAS KD21 is about allowing users to securely store and manage data from their computers or mobile devices. As Per Chip Magazine, the KD21 offers substantial data transfer speeds at 101.42 MB/s read and 72.20 MB/s write. Finally, the OMNINAS KD21 has provided user-friendly Android and iOS applications for easy access from almost anywhere in the world.
