Shuttle to launch its new generation Android-based digital signage player-NS01A
Shuttle Inc., the world’s leading designer and manufacturer of small form factor (SFF) computers, unveiled a new XPC nano product line during COMPUTEX 2015 to create a volume of only 0.5-liter super mini pc. After NC01U series, the XPC nano is introducing the Android-based NS01A, equipped with Intel® Atom™ Quad Core processor and the maximum power consumption (TDP) only 2.2W. The NS01A is also built-in DDR3L 1GB low-voltage memory with remarkable performance but low power consumption.
The NS01A is equipped with Intel ® Atom™ (Bay Trail-T) Z3735G Quad-core processor. With 22nm process and integrated Intel® HD Graphics, can support 1080/Full HD playback capability. With pre-install Android 4.4, the NS01A does not require any installation. Simply plug and play, users can easily enjoy multimedia or document files.
Featured ultra-small size, NS01A has onboard 16G eMMC and built-in SATA storage interface as well as SD card reader to support one 2.5” SATA HDD/SSD (7mm ultra slim) or an SD memory card for more storage space.
For commercial applications, the NS01A is made of high quality materials and its rugged design allows for stable operation over long periods of time – even in 40⁰C environments. This machine is completely fanless design to eliminate the noise produced by fan as well as the cost of replacing fans.
The NS01A is built-in 802.11b/g/n wireless network and Bluetooth 4.0 combo. Users can easily connect with internet and a variety of BT devices. With WiFi Direct-certified devices, users can wirelessly mirror the display of their phone, tablet, or laptop to a TV or monitor. What you see on your device is exactly what will be displayed on your TV or monitor.
NOTE: Both mobile devices and OS need to support WiFi Direct
In addition, NS01A will provide digital signage software in the near future. Users can directly use their mobile devices to easily operate this digital signage software. Compact, VESA mountable NS01A is easily integrated into industry applications like digital signage, Kiosk, Thin Client, and more.
