BIOS update fully restores USB 2.0 functionality to XPC SN25P
A recent issue with XPC SN25P systems that, in certain cases, caused instability with AMD Athlon 64 X2 processors while using USB 2.0, has been fully addressed by a BIOS update.
The problem first came to light when users contacted Shuttle Technical support about the issue, and Shuttle engineers quickly diagnosed the difficulty. A Beta BIOS file to restore USB 2.0 functionality was rapidly made available as an interim measure while full quality control and testing was carried out. This testing is now complete, and Shuttle has posted a fully approved BIOS file aimed at all users on its website.
After the BIOS update users can be confident that the XPC SN25P will deliver the high performance levels and feature rich experience expected from this multi-award winning system.
